How we make money
Families will pay for the full Firstspan plan. That's it. No ads, no affiliate links, no money from formula companies, and we never sell your data.
Today
We earn nothing yet. The full plan isn't open. You can join the waitlist and reserve a founding spot (S$49 for year one) for free, with no payment.
The money and deadlines tool is free and will stay free.
What we will never do
- Show ads, or let anyone pay to appear on the site.
- Use affiliate links, or earn a commission when you buy something.
- Take money, samples or sponsorship from formula or baby-food companies. Singapore's code on infant formula marketing (SIFECS) limits formula promotion for babies up to 12 months; we stay out of it completely.
- Sell or share your data for marketing.
Why this matters
A site paid by advertisers or commissions has a reason to push you towards buying things. We want the only reason for anything on Firstspan to be that an official source says it.
Later
We may offer Firstspan to employers as a staff benefit, so their employees get it free. If we do, employers will pay for access; they won't see any family's plan, and they won't change what the sources say. We'll update this page before that happens.
